OUR
MISSION
To provide underprivileged children the opportunity to attend athletic events and related educational and recreational experiences.
Our Mission
Sports Are For Everyone
At The SAFE Project, our mission is to ensure that every child has the opportunity to experience the inspiration, excitement, and life lessons that come from attending live sporting events.
We believe sports have the power to shape lives. They provide role models, build confidence, create community, and show young people what is possible when passion and hard work come together. Unfortunately, financial barriers prevent many children from accessing these experiences.
Our goal is simple: remove those barriers.
By providing tickets, transportation, meals, and gameday memorabilia, we create unforgettable experiences that allow children to feel included, inspired, and connected to something bigger than themselves. Our organization was founded specifically to provide underprivileged children opportunities to attend athletic events and related educational and recreational experiences through coordinated support and community engagement.
Why It Matters
For many children, attending a live sporting event is more than a day at the stadium.
It's the excitement of seeing a favorite athlete for the first time.
It's the inspiration that comes from watching people achieve extraordinary things.
It's the realization that dreams can become reality.
These moments can leave a lasting impact, and we believe every child deserves the chance to experience them.
How We Create Impact
Every SAFE Project experience is designed to be more than just a ticket to a game.
We strive to provide:
- Access to live sporting events
- Safe transportation to and from games
- Meals and refreshments throughout the experience
- Team merchandise and keepsakes
- Opportunities for mentorship, inspiration, and community connection
By creating complete gameday experiences, we help ensure that each child leaves with memories that last long after the final whistle.
